This is Bri

Hi, I’m Bri!

I’m a full time medical student and am mid-way through my 4th year – which means plenty of assignments, patients, and due dates. I have a real passion for health and well-being, and I am dedicated to gym, weight lifting, and cooking “clean” food.

I’ve always been aware of my body and what food I put in my mouth, and love to play sports and exercise. My incredible boyfriend introduced me to weights and I had previously wrongly believed that I would look manly and ‘bulk up’, which, unfortunately, is a widespread belief and fear.

I came across Jamie Eason – an inspirational fitness model/promotional speaker/amazing woman – and her program Live Fit in 2011, and I absolutely loved it!! I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone, and it has helped me in so many ways. It was from here that I learnt about ‘clean eating’ and since have discovered many blogs, groups and forums that continue to inspire and motivate me. I suppose it was partially the exposure to the amazing blogs that have prompted me to start my own blog – I would love to inspire people, as well as keep track of my progress and ideas/creative meal plans.

I’m hoping that this blog will help me keep focused on eating and exercising well, because I have come so far since starting this lifestyle. I hope to help all of you make the changes necessary to eat clean and train mean – please feel free to message/email/Facebook me. I love a challenge and I love learning, so I welcome any questions and ideas that you have!

You have not failed until you stop trying – no one ever regrets trying their hardest 🙂 x

Hi! I’m Sue, and I’m from SlimKicker, a fitness/diet app and website. I found your blog today and it captured my interest!

I’m contacting you b/c we’re about to release a fitness tracker (similar to FitBit) early next year, and are looking for bloggers who would be interested in receiving 1 for free to review when it is out (negative or positive).

Would you be interested in doing this? You can email me at: sue (at) slimkicker (com) with ‘Review’ in the email heading if you are.

A brief explanation of who we are, our website SlimKicker basically turns your fitness/diet goals into a level-up RPG game. The tracker will work with the website, and allow people to track calories burned and number of steps they walk automatically. The more they exercise, the more points they rack up! That’s basically how it will work.

Anyway, hope to hear back either way…

    – Sue

Hey Bri!! I am actually doing a show in 4 weeks… I am super excited… I’m going to try to use some of your recipes on the weekend or for one of my cheat meals (at the moment I can’t have dairy, wheat, and sugar on a regular basis). I have gone from 21% body fat to 14% in 8 weeks and I still need to lose an additional 2-3% :-(. I will let you know how it goes!!
